New moms go through an astounding amount of change deserving of a replenishing recovery routine. On top of extreme physical transition, this delicate time can also trigger anxiety, mood swings and trouble sleeping, making postpartum self-care extremely vital. Inspired by this experience, we created a natural herbal sitz bath soak that combines soothing herbs and mood-boosting botanicals to help restore emotional and physical wellness.

If using a sitz, add 1 ounce to warm water filled 3/4 of the way (or following the directions of your sitz). Allow a few minutes for the mixture to dissolve and aromatics to steep before using. If using a tub, fill 3 to 4 inches high with warm water. Whichever method you use, always make sure the water temperature is comfortable. Soak for 10 to 20 minutes, and add more warm water as needed. You can use our sitz bath soak 2 to 3 times a day, or as often as your healthcare provider suggests.

Please Note: The salt solution on your wound may cause pain at first, but it should ease. If you have stitches, limit use to once a day or follow your healthcare provider’s direction.

The most relief I've felt since my Perinoplasty and Sphinteroplasty 3 weeks ago. I've used Earth Mama Perineal tea bags too and they are good but this is better. I'm alternating between these 2 products. I will admit the epsom salts did sting but it was minimal for me. If you're concerned about stitches breaking down as a result of the oils in this product don't be because they are very thin. If you think it's too much for your sitz bath just add more warm water. I think it is important to keep the water warm the entire length of the sitz bath for maximum benefit. I sat for about 15 mins and plan on doing this every other day until I'm healed. Bottom line: I would put this on my must have list for postpartum or post lady part surgery or for anyone that wants a quality epsom salt bath!
